What Does STP Mean?
It was love at first bite when we discovered Sticky Toffee Pudding on our initial golf trip to Scotland years ago. We called it the Unofficial Dessert of the United Kingdom, and its availability still impacts our decisions on where to stay or dine.
No two Sticky Toffee Puddings are alike. Some portions are circular, some square, some served like a slice of pie. The moist cake with dates and warm toffee sauce also comes with ice cream (our preference, and vanilla goes best) or whipped cream. We engraved our golf trip trophy as the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cup, and have, on occasion, ordered one Sticky Toffee Pudding as an appetizer for the table, then followed it up with individual Sticky Toffee Puddings for dessert. When it came time to name this company, there was one clear choice.
Thus, STP Golf was born.
